Primitive Gathering Update

.....thinking spring. I've updated my page on the Gathering with a few wee mice and a bird or two....the only bird outside my door this morning is the iron bird on my bell bracket, covered with 4 inches of fresh snow....I can't wait to open the windows!

Valentine Express

Well, I guess you can tell what I have been doing since the 15th. We're getting ready to wrap and ship these little sweeties today and then get the dye pots going....and maybe start on Easter??? Oh,my. Time flies.

While I was digging in the wool piles I found a buried basket. It was filled with little bodies and little hearts....never finished. Remember him? Valentine's 2008. I think maybe I will finish a few while the pots are bubbling and list them in my Etsy shop.

Have a great day!

Silk Stocking Mat

This mat could be a snapshot of the weather today. It's one of my treasures....a Birthday gift from my dear friend Mary and the latest in my collection. Two of the snowmen in the photo are of my making and the large, handsome fellow was made by Kimberly Whritner. She's a friend and a new blogger....thesheepsnest, be sure to stop by and say hello. He was a Christmas gift from my sister, Sarah. Sad to say, the rest of my snowman collection never made it out of the suitcases this year....a post for next January....hahaha.

Enjoy the rest of the month...it will be February before you know it.
